In February 2011, FRD with the support of UNHCR provided camp coordination and camp management services inside camps of IDP's established at Nahaqi and Danish kol. Services provided by FRD included Site planning, Development and maintenance, provision of cooked food, establishment of individual family kitchen, Community services and camp coordination activities within both of the camps. The project has benefited about 9622 IDP families with about 57,732 individuals.

In November 2011, FRD with support of UNDP rehabilitated critical community infrastructure as well as restored livelihoods of flood affected families. The project benefited more than 22904 individuals and supported 400 families with cash for work component of the project.

Currently Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa is hosting two big camps i.e. Jalozai in district Nowshehra and Togh Sarai in district Hangu. These IDPs camps require regular site maintenance to let the IDPs have an acceptable environment in the camp. in this regard FRD with support of UNHCR is carrying out regular site maintenance activities that include but not limited to taking care of the Shingle roads, Sanitation drains, improved access, protection of critical infrastructure (like culverts etc) and improving the overall environment inside the Camp.

Skill Development for Economic Uplift Peshawar, 35 Photo(s)
FRD with support of Peshawar uplift program of IOM/PTI, identified 40 semi-skilled women and provided 2 months skill development training on knitting machines to enable them for preparing woolen stuff. Furthermore, they were trained on basic entrepreneurship skills to guide them on business development, access to market and linkages development. After the training completion all the women were provided with the knitting machines.
